February Monthly Meeting

Where: Pacific Whale Foundation Classrooms (lower level of the Ma’alaea Harbor Shops)

Guest Speaker: Neil Rhoads, Water Quality Researcher

General: Special Guest Neil Rhoads will be discussing preliminary results for a forthcoming paper analyzing Department of Health data for nutrient impairment in Maui coastal waters. The data spans 28 years and includes 20-30 sites from each of West Maui, South Maui, and North Shore Maui. Interesting patterns are starting to emerge, and they may not be what you expect!

Join MNMRC for our monthly meeting to learn how you can take an active role in protecting and restoring Maui’s coral reefs. The public is encouraged to attend! Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month in Ma’alaea from 5-7pm.
